Thanksgiving 09
We had tons of fun with the Price family this year for thanksgiving... The kids played so hard outside and Seth helped chop some fire wood to keep us warm... We ate so much yummy food and had lots of good pie to choose from... We all took a nap and watched football to end the night... Mitchell was really sick so he just laid around poor kid... We hope that you had tons of yummy food and got a little bit fatter just like us... Happy Thanksgiving!!!

GRATITUDE
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

We have had a hard few days of some decisions we have needed to make in our personal life. I can only say that the Lord knows me inside and out. He knows just what I need and right when I need it. We have been truly blessed by the people in our lives who have helped when we have needed it most. I have learned that we can never give up and no matter what miracles do happen and the Lord does answer our prayers. When he puts decisions right in front of us that all we need to do is choose the right and no matter what that decision is if you do your best he will help carry you the rest of the way through it. I am so thankful for my family and the great and wonderful examples they are to me. I love Owen so much and am so grateful for all he does to take care of us. He is a great father and my best friend. I am so grateful for my parents who never gave up on me. You are the best and I love you so much. I am grateful for Myrna who has raised such a wonderful son. I know that he is the person he is today because of you. I love my sisters so much. They are all such wonderful examples to me in the way they live their lives. I am so thankful for the church and that my parents raised me with a testimony of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for my Savior who died on the cross so that I can repent of my sins and be clean before him. I am so thankful for my children and the chance that I have to be a mother. They are such sweet spirits and beautiful children of our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for my friends and the love they show me. I am thankful for my house and all I have inside it and that it keeps us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I am thankful for my car and the fact that it helps me get to my job everyday. I am thankful for the food I have to eat and that my kids never go hungry. I am grateful for my testimony that helps me make good decisions. This week is Thanksgiving and I have all this and so much more to be thankful for. I have so much gratitude. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hope that you can share it with the people who you love most. To my family-know that I will be thinking of you on this special day and that I love you with all my heart. I would not be the person I am today without each and every one of you. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This is what you get when you buy a house from the 1950s... Welcome to our home projects...
This is what the family room looked like before... It had this wood panel throughout the whole basement... This is the boys bedroom till we remodel it...
This is what the family room looks like now...

Mitchell will have his own room when we finish this remodel
Owen was adding a bedroom to the basement till he decided he wanted it on the other side of the room to add a bigger window... So this is our basement now doesn't it look fun... I think we will start to work on it again after Christmas if Owen is able to keep his job... Mitchell thought it would be a fast project... He was super excited... He really has no idea and then I told him they would all have to share his bedroom when we start the rest of the remodel on the basement bedroom and bathroom... He was disappointed-I can't wait to get working on it again and see it finished... Owen is so good about this he does everything on his own-I just love that he is such a hard worker... In the years to come we will have this house how we picture it and it will be perfect for us as we grow old-but getting their is another story... This is one of my stories and it's all about oil based paint and man is it a PAIN... So I was out of town for a few days and Owen decided to surprise me and paint the bathroom so he knowing now that we have oil based paint sanded the whole bathroom and then painted it and this is what it looks like now... *What the heck*
I painted Jiselle's bed room a few months ago and this is what it looks like now...

I had no idea we had oil based paint throughout our house when I painted her room-but then the bathroom... Come on... The paint is just peeling off and with kids they help it a little every few days... I think this could drive me CARZY.... *Home projects aren't they fun* When be bought this house we could see the potential of it's cute charm but getting there is sure a lot of work... In the years to come I will post our pictures and stories of our home makeover fun... Welcome to the Causey home projects and wish us luck...
Mitchell will have his own room when we finish this remodel

Do I Have To Do This Again???
I just had this little surgery done on my foot about 4 or 5 months ago and this stupid thing grew back again... Can you believe that... Same place and all-so I now have to go get this same surgery done again next Tuesday... The only problem is I know how bad it hurts and the shot the DR. put right up through the middle hurt so bad it just about took me right up off that table...
So I have put it off now a little to long because it hurts to walk again and feels like I am walking on a rock but it's in my foot... OK I have cried enough-poor me-Wish me luck...
