~My Poems~

I had to write two poems for a test in one of my classes this week and this is what I came up with. Thinking of only the most important people of my life.

Come little child and you will see.

What mamma bear has to offer thee.

With the child's brave soul yet to be free.

Temptations await his every plea.

He takes a leap within the dark blue sea.

All the while Mamma bear still watching over me.

A love like mine is hard to find.

From the age 18 till the end of time.

Though death do us part was the start.

Eternity we found with love in our heart.

Back to the crazy life of a working, college student called mom

So I'm back to school full time again with 14 credits this semester. My life is a crazy one full of home work, house work, classes, work, kids and anything else a normal person has to do. What is normal anyways? Is there such a thing? I would say nope, just life as it comes at you. I am really enjoying this semester. I have a class that called career and life planning that helps you figure your personality, likes, dislikes, values and so on. From those it fits you with the jobs that match you the most. I have to say that this has been one of my most difficult decisions. Deciding what I want to do with my life as a career is very important because I do not want to make the wrong decision. I have thought long and hard with lots of prayers. The Lord has a plan for me that I know to be true. I have been through lots of trials in my life that have led me to where I am going. I went to talk to my adviser about the career path I have chosen-and that path has set me out on a four year goal. I have decided to major in Special Education and will be applying to get into the pre special education program this summer after I finish this semester. I have learned that you can only apply every other odd year for this major, so this is a little bit of a set back. I now have to wait until 2015. Seems like forever, but we came up with a plan to take less classes each semester to drag it out so I don't have a year off until I can apply. I will be taking 9-11 credits a semester until then. Maybe I will be grateful for that plan for the next few years and not feel so overwhelmed. I am excited and working hard everyday to get straight A's. It's really funny how disappointed I get when I get a B on a assignment, although it has only been two so far. As a mother I worry if I am spending enough time with my kids while I go through my weeks, but they seem to think I am here enough. They are great kids and I am thankful for them each and every one of them. Being home on the weekends makes a big difference, not working night audit, I feel a lot better. I get to really sleep. Not having three jobs anymore and taking it down to two makes me feel like a whole new person. Working two jobs while going to school full time has got me feeling like I am running. I wish I could lose weight this way, but I manage somehow to get everything done that I need to. I just stay on a schedule and take it day by day. I know the Lord is with me and the nights like tonight where I just got home from work at 2 A.M. he is carrying me. What the heck I would do with out him? I have no clue... I have come to realise just to be grateful I woke up in the morning and have the day to get through. What a blessing (right). I have set lots of goals for this new year and I can already tell 2012 is going to be awesome and that's what I am looking forward to.

Box Elder vs Bear River The Rivalry Game...

This game was one of the most wanted wins of the season and Box Elder Freshman won Bear River 50-7... I remember when I was in high school and the Thatcher vs Safford games would come. I felt the same way these kids felt for this game. You may remember seeing the video on you tube before called The Same Jersey, but it goes to show that even after I graduated 14 years ago it's still the same big rivalry game. I love watching these games! Good job Bees way to sting um :) Mitchell is # 85... The next two posts are of the news stories covering the rivalry game here for Box Elder vs Bear River-
